The two witnesses appear first in (Revelation 11:1-3), “[1] And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein. [2] But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months. [3] And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.” KJV.
The exterior courtyard has been given unto the gentiles, and they have some right to be there for they will tread the holy city for forty two months. They will remain over the holy city and over the exterior courtyard of the temple for three and a have years.
For this to happen the temple has to be rebuilt, and the gentiles have to have some control over the city. To me, the only possible scenario is that the city of Jerusalem ends up being divided between Israel and Palestine, and the UN is given the authority to peacekeep the area and thanks to that, Israel is allowed to rebuild the temple.
The dividing of the holy city is a sin unto GOD, for HE gave the land to Israel in perpetuity. That would be reason enough for the tribulation to start, but there is something else. How are the gentiles behaving in Jerusalem? I mean, what is the code of conduct that they must abide by in the holy land?
If Israel divided its land, they must plan to bring the seventy nations home (UN), and with them they will impose the laws of noah over the whole world. The noahide laws is the price the world will pay Israel for the dividing of the land.
These noahide laws will cause the extermination of the Christians. If you are not aware of what the noahide laws are please read the following posts, the seven noahide laws, the noahide temple coin.
In verse three, the two witnesses are given power, and their ministry lasts three and a half years also. They will face the noahides punishing them for the execution of christians.
Mission of the two witnesses.
Their mission is described in (Revelation 11:4-6), “[4] These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth. [5] And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed. [6] These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.” KJV.
Let’s identify first the candlesticks, in (Revelation 1:20), ” The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.” KJV.
The seven candlesticks are golden. These candlesticks are in JESUS’ hand. These are not just the seven churches mentioned in Revelation 2 and 3. Those churches need a lot of work to do to be in the hand of the LORD. To my understanding, the seven golden candlesticks in the hand of the LORD represent only the raptured part of the seven churches. However, the seven churches mentioned in chapters 2 and 3, include those spirit filled Christians that are still part of those churches since the raptured hasn’t happened yet.
So the candlesticks of (Rev 11:4) are the churches, but they are not golden. That means that the two churches left (one per each candlestick) are void of the HOLY SPIRIT.
These two candlesticks represent the left behind church of CHRIST and the people of Israel who has not accepted JESUS as the CHRIST. This means the two witnesses ministry start after the rapture of the Church.
Remember that all the people of faith that were ready and full of the SPIRIT have been taken away in the rapture. The left behind are void of the HOLY SPIRIT as the people of Israel is as well.
The two olive trees are the two witnesses, and because they stand before the LORD, their mission is to do the will of GOD. This has already been explained in (Zec 4:11-14), “[11] Then answered I, and said unto him, What are these two olive trees upon the right side of the candlestick and upon the left side thereof? [12] And I answered again, and said unto him, What be these two olive branches which through the two golden pipes empty the golden oil out of themselves? [13] And he answered me and said, Knowest thou not what these be ? And I said, No, my lord. [14] Then said he, These are the two anointed ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth.” KJV.
As Zechariah describes there was only one candlestick, because the church of CHRIST had not been born yet. The people of Israel were returning from their captivity in Babylon, they were not full of the SPIRIT for they had mingled their seed with the people of the land which is an abomination unto GOD (Ezra 9:1).
They needed the SPIRIT of GOD to do the will of GOD which was the rebuilding of the temple for the coming of the messiah. The two olive branches poured the SPIRIT of GOD into the people of Israel so they became bold rebuilding the temple.
The same way, the two witnesses will bring the SPIRIT of GOD to the two left behind churches so they become bold and accept the LORD even to their deaths.
Verses 5 and 6 describe who the two witnesses are. Verse 5 clearly describes Elijah the Prophet as in (2 Kin 1:9-10), “[9] Then the king sent unto him a captain of fifty with his fifty. And he went up to him: and, behold, he sat on the top of an hill. And he spake unto him, Thou man of God, the king hath said, Come down. [10] And Elijah answered and said to the captain of fifty, If I be a man of God, then let fire come down from heaven, and consume thee and thy fifty. And there came down fire from heaven, and consumed him and his fifty.” KJV. Verse 6 clearly describes Moses as he sent the plagues over Egypt in the book of Exodus.
Verses 5 and 6 also describe a confrontation with the Noahides for the murdering of Christians.
The two witnesses will bring the gospel to the left behind, they will witness the veracity of the LORD, HIS mercy and HIS endless faithfulness.
They will probably reveal to the world the true tablets of the law, and the arc of the covenant. They will make it impossible for any unbeliever to deny the existence of GOD.
Their witnessing will be so powerful that whomever that takes the mark of the beast or worships the beast or his image, will be blapheming against the SPIRIT of GOD, making his sin unforgivable. (Revelation 14:9-11), “[9] And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, [10] The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: [11] And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.” KJV.

End of their ministry
The end of their ministry is described from verse 7 to 14. (Revelation 11:7), ” And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.” KJV.
It is the beast, the antichrist who kills them, but he does it after his resurrection, for this antichrist is not the same born as a man with the breath of GOD in him, he now is an abomination that ascends from the bottomless pit. He is demon possesed, a zombie if you will.
The bottomless pit is opened after the blow of the fifth trumpet. (Rev 9:1), ” And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit.” KJV.
But an evil spirit that comes out of the bottomless pit will overtake the beast after the fifth trumpet, and bring him back to life.
(Rev 13:3,5), “3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast… 5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.” KJV.
This beast, resurrected, demon possesed, and in full power is the one that kills the two witnesses. And this happens at mid-tribulation for the antichrist has 42 month left to rule.
(Revelation 11:8), ” And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.” KJV.
They will die in Jerusalem, but what is revealing is that Jerusalem by that time will become spiritualy wicked, full of sexual immorality and idolatry. This is already happening, their support for homosexuality and third trimester abortion is widely known.
(Revelation 11:9), ” And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.” KJV.
The world will hate the two witnesses. After three and a half years, the people who would not accept their testimony will be sick and tired of their preaching and their plagues.
(Revelation 11:10), ” And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.” KJV.
This verse paints perfectly the political situation on the whole world. It depicts the days of Purim. The book of Esther in chapter 9 describes how the Jews, during their captivity in Babylon, killed all their enemies thanks to the favour Queen Esther gained from King Ahasuerus. This happened during the 14 and 15 days of the month Adar. The Jews made these days, as days of rejoicing and feasting and of sending gifts to one another all throughout Babylon, because that day all their enemies were eliminated.
This verse confirms that the noahides are under the rule or control of the talmudic Jews, for why would the gentiles of the world celebrate like the babylonian jews did? The only reason possible is that the gentiles are following the noahide laws, and as their enemies are destroyed, they celebrate as their masters tell them.
The noahide laws are being followed all over the world, and those laws are being used to exterminate the Christians and when the two witnesses die, all their enemies die and they celebrate as the babylonian jews did because the whole world has become babylon.
It is also possible that the two witnesses die right before the Purim celebrations. If this were so, coming back in time 1,260 days from that day, will bring us to a probable rapture day. The closest Purim celebration that fits this timeline will be on March 24, 2024. 1,260 days earlier bring us to October 11, 2020. A date to keep in mind but not set in stone.
(Revelation 11:11-12), “[11] And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them. [12] And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.” KJV.
Their last testification will be that the resurrection of JESUSCRIST is true since they are also resurrecting in the eyes of the whole world. This is the sign of Jonah, that JESUS promised the evil generation would receive. (Luke 11:29-30), “[29] And when the people were gathered thick together, he began to say, This is an evil generation: they seek a sign; and there shall no sign be given it, but the sign of Jonas the prophet. [30] For as Jonas was a sign unto the Ninevites, so shall also the Son of man be to this generation.” KJV.
The evil generation will receive the first sign of Jonah at the beginning of the tribulation, but sudden destruction has not come over them yet, because they only cry that the LORD has come after the opening of the sixth seal. This second sign of Jonah will fulfil the words of (1 Thessalonians 5:2-3), “[2] For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. [3] For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.” KJV.
They say peace and safety for the two witnesses who tormented them with plague after plague have just been killed, and as they celebrate, the two witnesses resurrect, and great fear falls upon them.
The sudden destruction is described in (Revelation 11:13), ” And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.” KJV.
This great earthquake causes tremendous destruction over the world, so much that the islands are moved out of their places and so are the mountains. In (Rev 6:16-17) the people of the world believe that this is the day of the LORD, but it is not, for the LORD will come after the seventh trumpet. But they believe so for the great destruction the great earthquake brought upon them, and for the rest of the events that happen around that time. Those events are caused by the pouring of the seven bowls.
The remnant that gave glory to GOD are the remnant of Israel and not the zionist government, nor the orthodox community; neither of course the noahides. These last three are part of babylon the great. Only they will receive the double measure of the wrath of GOD.
(Revelation 11:14), ” The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly.” KJV.
This verse confirms again that the two witnesses death and the great earthquake happen at the time the sixth trumpet is sound, therefore, the sixth seal and the sixth trumpet are parallel events.
The abomination of desolation
(Daniel 9:27), ” And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.” KJV.
This verse of Daniel confirms that the situation between the antichrist and the Jews changes in the middle of the tribulation. Once the two witnesses are gone, and the left behind church with them, the restrainer, the HOLY SPIRIT, is also gone, (2 Thessalonians 2:7-8) . The antichrist can declare himself god and focus his attention on the remnant of Israel.
(2 Thessalonians 2:10-12), “[10] And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. [11] And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: [12] That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” KJV.
These verses match perfectly with (Revelation 9:20-21) that happens during the sixth trumpet, “[20] And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk: [21] Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.” KJV.
After the death and resurrection of the two witnesses, the HOLY SPIRIT leaves. No one will repent after that. Only the remnant of israel could be saved but everyone else is condemned already.
This is the middle of the tribulation and the ministry of the 144,000 is about to start.
Do not be left behind, accept the LORD in your heart right now and be watching reading the word of GOD and asking the SPIRIT for its understanding. But if you are left behind remember, the death of the two witnesses will be your last chance to come to repentance and be saved, but you will have to die for the LORD, the noahides will take your head off so you can become a tribulation saint.
