(Rev 15:1), “And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvellous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God.” KJV.
There will be a sign in the heavens before the seven last plagues of the wrath of GOD are poured over the world.
(Rev 15:2), “2 And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.” KJV.
Those who had the victory over the antichrist and stand over the sea of glass are the Jews, for their persecution started once the antichrist revealed himself. I explain this in the posts the antichrist and the false prophet part two and last chance the two witnesses, look at the end of their ministry.
They are victorious over the beast for it is the remnant that endures the full attack of the antichrist, and they are victorious once the seven bowls are poured over the earth.
Do all the remnant die before appearing standing on the sea glass? They are supposed to endure three and a half years of great tribulation. That is until the antichrist is destroyed. But it is not clear if they all die in the earth, it is possible that at the end of the three and a half years the survivors are raptured into heaven as well.
(Rev 15:3), “3 And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints.” KJV.
Because they sing the song of Moses (first covenant) and the song of the LAMB, these confirms that they are the remnant of Israel that have accepted JESUSCHRIST as their messiah.
(Rev 15:4), “4 Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.” KJV.
if this happens at the end of the three and a half years, then the remnant should appear in heaven after the pouring of the seven bowls.
(Rev 15:5-6), “[5] And after that I looked, and, behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened: [6] And the seven angels came out of the temple, having the seven plagues, clothed in pure and white linen, and having their breasts girded with golden girdles.” KJV.
Now it goes to the beginning of the seven bowls. This does not mean the remnant appear in heaven before the bowls, it just means he (John) either went back in time or the vision is in disorder, since the whole book mostly is.
The seven angels having the plagues, come out of the sanctuary in heaven. These plagues are divine punishment.
(Rev 15:7-8), [7] And one of the four beasts gave unto the seven angels seven golden vials full of the wrath of God, who liveth for ever and ever. [8] And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from his power; and no man was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled.” KJV.
No man can presence the wrath of GOD and survive, therefore, no one is allowed in the sanctuary while the double portion of HIS wrath is being poured on the earth.
The wrath of GOD is given in the golden vials which are full. GOD is punishing the earth with all of HIS wrath, HE is not holding anything back.
But who is GOD punishing with all of HIS wrath and why? As stated in verse 2 above, HE is punishing the beast, but before him, the whore of Babylon has to be destroyed:
(Revelation 14:8), “And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication. KJV.
(Revelation 18:6), “Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double.” KJV.
GOD is punishing Babylon, because she made all the nations drink of her wrath. This means the whole world took part on her fornication, all nations were complicit in her crimes. And HE is giving her double the measure HE poured on the world with the seven trumpets.
The trumpets are the wrath of GOD, the bowls are the double portion of HIS wrath. This perfectly matches what was explained in the post The seal the trumpets and the bowls part two. Let’s review this paragraph from this post:
“As we can see, the trumpets cause damage over 1/3 of something, while 2/3 remain the same. If we cause that a double measure of any trumpet affect a second time the same thing, then 1/3 + 2/3 = 1. Then the whole thing would be affected. This understanding will be very important when we deal with the bowls.“
If the double portion of any trumpet equals the double portion of GOD’s wrath then the trumpets are the wrath of GOD and after the bowls the wrath of GOD is fully poured for there is nothing left to punish.
Let’s go to chapter 16 to the actual pouring of the bowls.
(Rev 16:1-2), “1 And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth. 2 And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image.” KJV.
The angels receive the order to pour the vials upon the earth. Even though the first six vials are focused on the whore of Babylon the vials are for the earth, this means the whore is all over the world therefore Babylon would be the whole earth and not a specific city. This matches what is stated in the post The Whore of Babylon.
The first vial when poured affected only those who had the mark of the beast (the antichrist armies and the whore of Babylon). This means two things, first that the vials are poured after the mark of the beast is forced upon the world, which happens after mid-tribulation; and second, this confirms that when in (Rev 9:4) the fifth trumpet affected only those who had not the seal of GOD, the mark of the beast was not mentioned because it wasn’t established yet, confirming our observations in the post Apollyon and the vaccine.
Finally, even though obvious, this vial does not affect those who have not taken the mark of the beast, which are the remnant of Israel and the 144,000.
(Rev 16:3-4), “3 And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea. 4 And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood.” KJV.
As we saw in (Rev 8:8), the second trumpet affected the first third of the sea, with this vial (double portion of GOD’S wrath) the whole sea is destroyed. The same happens for the rivers and fountains, there is no more fresh water to drink in the world.
(Rev 16:5-7), “5 And I heard the angel of the waters say, Thou art righteous, O Lord, which art, and wast, and shalt be, because thou hast judged thus. 6 For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy. 7 And I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are thy judgments.” KJV.
There is an angel assigned to the protection of the waters, the same way there are angels assigned to the protection of lands, cities, countries, people. Anything and anyone important to GOD has a guardian angel around him.
In verse 6, the whore of Babylon is being counted wordy of her punishment. It is the whore who shed the blood of the saints for the same appears in (Rev 18:20), “Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye holy apostles and prophets; for God hath avenged you on her.” KJV., and in (Rev 18:24), “And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.” KJV.
She has been found guilty of murdering the saints, the just, the martyrs, and the prophets over the whole world and throughout time, from the beginning of the world until now. This describes that those who sinned against GOD in times past are of the same tree as those who sinned against GOD at the end times. They are the generation that shall not pass until all this things are fulfilled (Mat 24:34)
Because this is the great tribulation, what is happening to the Jews while the bowls are being poured? They are in the wilderness. If anyone of them isn’t, then that Jew is receiving the same punishment as the whore (Rev 18:4), “4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.” KJV.
According to (Rev12:14) the remnant is being nourished by GOD there. Being nourished doesn’t mean being unaffected by the plagues, it just means they have what they need to survive the plagues. Those of the remnant still unrepentant are also suffering much harder than those who already believe JESUS is their messiah.
Let’s go on, (Rev 16:8-9), “8 And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire. 9 And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.” KJV.
Now the whole sun is burning, and all the people in the world are being scorched. But those who have the mark have being given a strong delusion to force them to believe the lies of the antichrist. They are unable to repent. Their rebellion against GOD will go on until their destruction. None of them will repent, Just like Pharaoh in Egypt during all the plagues. (Exo 14:8)
(Rev 16:10-11), “10 And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain, 11 And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds.” KJV.
As it happened with the other vials, the fifth vial is related to the fifth trumpet. The opening of the kingdom of darkness over the world is taken to a maximum. The darkness is full blown over the world and it causes pain on the living. You wanted the kingdom of darkness? Asks the LORD, there you have it, it is given unto you as punishment, but you won’t be allowed to repent and escape. They will still blame the LORD not recognizing that GOD was trying to protect them from it.
It is clear that all the vials are cumulative since they are suffering from the pain and the sores of the first vial.
(Rev 16:12-16), “12 And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared. 13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. 14 For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. 15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame. 16 And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.” KJV.
As previously stated for the other vials, the sixth vial correspond to the events of the sixth trumpet (Rev 9:13-21). Because the third part of the world population is eliminated during the sixth trumpet, the remaining 2/3rds of the population should be eliminated with this vial, but this does not happen yet. All that happens with the sixth vial is the setting up of the antichrist armies for the final battle of Armageddon. As we will see is during this battle that all the forces of evil are eliminated.
(Rev 16:12), access is given to the antichrist’s armies to reach the valley of Megiddo.
(Rev 16:13-14), The evil trinity is presented here, conformed by satan, the beast and the false prophet. They declare themselves as the leaders of the forces of evil that stand in rebellion against GOD and against His Annointed.
(Rev 16:15), Those who did not watched for the return of the LORD are standing here in rebellion against HIM. Their destiny can be inferred from (Job 24:14), “The murderer rising with the light killeth the poor and needy, and in the night is as a thief.” and from (1The 5:2), “For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.” KJV. They all are coming to their deaths and they don’t even know it is a possibility for the LORD has given them strong delusion.
As stated in (Rev 18:8,10), “8 Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her … 10 Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come.” KJV.
As we can see, all her plagues come to her in one day, but the judgment by fire happens in one hour.
Another event that should appear here is the great earthquake of (Rev 6:12) and (Rev 11:13). This earthquake, as already explained in The seals the trumpets and the bowls part 1, is the same earthquake. Then the sixth vial should bring a double portion of this earthquake. But this earthquake is delayed to affect with the seventh vial.
It is very difficult to separate the events of the sixth vial from the events of the 7th seal, 7th trumpet and 7th vial.
(Rev 16:17-20), “17 And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done. 18 And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great. 19 And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath. 20 And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found. 21 And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.” KJV.
(Rev 16:17), The throne room is in the temple of heaven.
(Rev 16:18-20), as with the other vials, the seventh vial is the double portion of the seventh trumpet. If we compare verse 18 with (Rev 11:19), we see that the lightnings, the voices, the thunders, and the earthquake are all there. The hail is mentioned as well in verse 21. The big difference is that the earthquake of the seventh vial is as nothing the world has ever seen. Now we can understand that the great earthquake of the sixth seal and sixth trumpet is not the same as the great earthquake of the seventh vial. This seventh vial earthquake includes the double portion of the earthquake of the sixth trumpet, which was delayed, plus the earthquake of the seventh trumpet (and seventh seal, but it is the same earthquake) plus the double portion of the earthquake of the seventh trumpet that affects due to the pouring of the seventh vial. This is a humongous earthquake and with this earthquake everything in the earth is leveled.
(Rev 16:20), the great hail includes the double portion of the great hail of (Rev 11:19) and the great hail of the seventh trumpet since it is impossible to separate them from each other. It is my understanding that this great hail falls all together until the end of the tribulation.
