Habakkuk 2:2-3, “2 And the LORD answered me, and said: ‘Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that a man may read it swiftly. 3 For the vision is yet for the appointed time, and it declareth of the end, and doth not lie; though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not delay.” MT&JPS.

The most important part of the vision is its meaning. It is what makes it prophetic. Sometimes the meaning is readily accessible, sometimes it is hidden and no matter what we do or how much we analyze it, its meaning won’t be revealed until due time. A clear example of this are the tsunami dreams. I had to have five dreams over the span of 30 years, to understand their real meaning and how the obvious is not always the right message.
Experience is important, the more visions you have properly interpreted, the easier it will become. Your understanding will increase and with that your precision, but is the inspiration of the Holy Spirit what will connect the dream with the word of GOD providing its true meaning.
