One way or another there are many accounts for most events of the beginning of sorrows listed in (Mat 24:4-8), “[4] And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. [5] For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. [6] And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. [7] For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. [8] All these are the beginning of sorrows.” KJV.
Starting from verse four, deception is rampant all around us. Not only at religious level but also at all situations of life. Whether you live in America or in Europe you can see how deceptive all governments have become. Religious sects calling themselves Christians, promote all sorts of superficial teachings with the only objective of bringing money to their arks. They say there is a time of wealth transfer coming, fooling the people with the example of Moses’ lead to the promise land, taking wealth from the Egyptians on their way out.
The world is coming to an end, and we will not need any gold or silver from this world, for where we go the streets are made of gold.
Verse six is all out with the “wars” in Ukraine, Lebanon, Gaza; and rumors of wars coming from North Korea, Venezuela, Yemen, Iran, China, Taiwan.
From verse seven we can see that famines, pestilences and earthquakes have been happening everywhere.
But what is not really clear is if nation is rising against nation and kingdom against kingdom.
The word nation here comes from the Greek word ethnos, which means race. But to understand the whole expression it is better to see (Isa 19:2), “And I will set the Egyptians against the Egyptians: and they shall fight every one against his brother, and every one against his neighbour; city against city, and kingdom against kingdom.” KJV.
Here Isaiah presents a situation of complete social upheaval, people of the same country fighting each other. People of the same race fighting each other. This is civil war.
This is what is missing for the tribulation to start. It seems to me that the next US Presidential elections is going to become troublesome to say the least.
Please brothers and sisters stay away from trouble, don’t take part on manifestations that can get violent. Remember, the tribulation is going to happen because the LORD said so. Let it happen, do not interfere with it. Civil war is what is still missing for the tribulation to start. It will happen and then we the Christians will be in the eye of the storm until the rapture happens.
