Why Hitler was not “The Antichrist”?

(Jan 14, 2020)

It is obvious that Hitler had the antichrist spirit within him, but the Antichrist described in the book of revelation is much more wicked, and has far more influence in global affairs than he did.

The Antichrist described in the book of revelation has to fulfill two major events;

  1. Declare himself god in the Temple of GOD desecrating it. (Daniel 9:27), (Matthew 24:15), (2 Thessalonians 2:4)
  2. Eliminate the remnant of the Christian church from the face of the earth. (Revelation 13:5-7), (Revelation 6:10-11), (Revelation 7:13-14)

According to (2 Thessalonians 2:1-12), the great apostasy would happen only after the restrainer is removed from the earth.

We need to remember that Christians obtain salvation through FAITH, and because of that FAITH, they receive the HOLY SPIRIT in them. The HOLY SPIRIT is the one that causes their FAITH to increase, THE SPIRIT reveals to them the mysteries of JESUSCHRIST, and the understanding of the word of GOD, that is JESUS HIMSELF.

If every true christian has the SPIRIT of the LORD in him, for as long as there are true christians alive on the earth the restrainer is present, and the Antichrist cannot declare himself god.

Hitler cannot be “The Antichrist” of the book of revelation because he did not tried to eliminate the christians first. He went straight for the Jews.

We know from (Dan 9:27) that at the middle of the week the antichrist will be revealed. That is the middle of the seven year tribulation, and by (Rev 13:5) we know he will be given authority for 42 months which are three and a half years. now, these three and a half years have to be the second half of the seven year tribulation because what would be the point of being revealed as god without having any authority to exert his godly power? He, the antichrist, will have great authority over the world for 42 months, the authority of the god of the earth, and as such he will go against the jews, once the christians have been exterminated.

Neither Hitler nor any other man in history has accomplished these two major events and because of that you can be sure that the tribulation period has not started yet.

The passage in (2 Thessalonians 2:1-12) need to be explained to understand the timeline of the tribulation events.

In (2 Thessalonians 2:1), The coming of our LORD and our gathering together unto HIM are two separate events. They occur at different days, but they both refer to the passage in (John 14:1-3). The coming of our LORD refers to the rapture at the beginning of the tribulation, but the gathering together refers to the wedding feast once the tribulation saints are avenged with the punishment of the whore of babylon. There cannot be a wedding with half a church (the raptured part) and neither can be a wedding while the tribulation saints are expecting vengeance.

In (2 Thessalonians 2:2-3), “the day” mentioned here refers to the day of the LORD, the second coming of CHRIST. It cannot be the rapture because the rapture is a mystery (1 Corinthians 15:51) , it has never been spoken of as a “day”, the only day known in the bible is the day of the LORD which is a day of judgement.

In (2 Thessalonians 2:5), it gets clear that because the church in thesalonica was suffering tribulation they thought they had missed the rapture, and what they were expecting was the second coming of CHRIST. But Paul explains that it is not so, for before the coming of CHRIST, the antichrist has to be revealed, and for that to happen the restrainer has to be removed from earth and for that to happen there cannot be any christians alive and they were.

In (2 Thessalonians 2:10-12), it is revealed that once the HOLY SPIRIT leaves earth, no one else repents, because they will believe the lies of the antichrist. This is also corroborated in (Revelation 9:20-21), after the blow of the sixth trumpet no one else repent.

This event has to be paralel to the death of the two witnesses, that occurs three days before the great earthquake of the sixth seal. Therefore the trumpets and the seals are paralel events. The two witnesses die at the middle of the tribulation and the antichrist is revealed after their resurrection, when the HOLY SPIRIT leaves earth.

There will be a future post detailing why the trumpets and the seals are paralel events.

GOD bless you and keep you.
